He must not have been familiar with that stretch of Highway 30. Those dividers were put in place probably 1.5 years ago to prevent people from using the center lane to pass.

The guy asked for prayers. Not commentary. These kids are orphans now.

The commentary might save someone's life. And the guy was 56 years old, which implies his kids aren't toddlers.

Seems Ivan Dumbar is the one we should be praying for. That guy has to be messed up.

Hope not he couldn't do anything about it

Have a friend who had a drunk woman stumble in front of him 30 years ago, doesn't seem to affect him

Looks like it would have been better to pass the truck on the shoulder. Sad.

Or just be safe and patient and ride behind the truck so he could get home to his kids.

They are basically glorified speed bumps. They installed them in the middle lanes of hey 30 a few years ago to keep people from using the middle lane as a passing lane.
Before the speed bumps people would dive miles down the center lane to pass traffic.

Which caused some ugly wrecks as well. The traffic in Geismar is horrendous.

That traffic is horrible. If I leave work a 5 minutes to 4 I can make it home in 20 minutes. If I leave at 4 or later it takes 45 minutes to get home.

Jeezuz dude he made a call that would have been no big if the divider wasn't there. You make it sound like he killed himself by overdose or something.

I leave work at 530. It's miserable.

I never thought I'd run into a fellow FC'er in here. Anyway, Paul was a good guy. He'll be missed...
