I'm just like this. Military history is what I "watch" when going to sleep. I know definitely I've "seen" everything on AHC.

I fall asleep to history and nature documentaries narrated by soothing British voices. Can’t stand a lot of the commercially produced American ones with their EXTREME nature cliffhanger shite made for commercials.

Really it’s just that’s a good voice is soothing. I could listen to David Attenborough read a shipping manifest

I typically turn on a podcast with the timer set to 1 hour and stick my phone under my pillow. Just loud enough for me to hear it without disturbing my wife. I never remember what I listened to though...

I fall asleep every night with an airpod in one ear. I have a problem stopping my mind from racing, so I have found that a boring documentary or podcast that I have enough interest in to pay attention to will put me to sleep within about 20 minutes. David Attenborough can be good, but sometimes an animal will screech or howl or make some noise during sex that will pierce the calm. The best is the podcast series about the American revolution.

I’ve been doing this the past month or so. At some point I’ll get rain sounds, old 30s-40s music, or like last night, someone reading the book of Luke
