Pretty cool to spot one in transit down to the cape. Amazing amount of transport support. A bunch of cops, escorts and mechanics supporting. I passed it, then they stopped at the same gas station I hit and I asked one of the cops and he confirmed it was a Falcon 9.
Pics are meh because I was driving.

Yeah, baw level 10. Shockingly did not have nuts on it.

Joking. It was actually a rig moving company which doesn’t surprise me coming out of Tx. I had a couple dudes moving coil units around the country and can totally appreciate that skills it takes to move something that big around.

I wasn’t sure myself at first. You just assume they’re way too massive to move on a truck. But thanks to google and having seen the one on display at NASA Houston I had a good idea when I asked the escort guys.

What's even cooler is that those trucks don't pull over without support. When they do it's for load checks then they get back to driving. Chain of custody is always key.

All the support vehicles needed fuel apparently and they fueled up the lead truck on the side on the road, where I got those pics. I can’t see it fitting at any fuel stations. I think they needed to pee too.

They should just build landing zones with refueling facilities and launch pads every few hundred miles and just hopscotch those bad boys across the country.

I’d like to see that thing get through I-10 in NO East unscathed.

If it’s so great, why didn’t it just fly itself to the Cape?
Sheesh

If there’s a single shred of copper on that thing it would be stripped down and sitting on blocks near Read blvd.
