We used to live in fairhope before we moved to orange beach and we loved it. Our son still goes to fairhope high and the schools are as good as you will find anywhere. Some of the poeple here border or weird but no worse than anywhere else. You will also find a pretty good mix of bama, auburn amd lsu folks in baldwin county particularly on the eastern shore.

Definitely Fairhope. Great people, schools, infrastructure, and churches. Covington has a gang problem that the media is keeping under raps ( ha ha, rap, get it?)

Fairhope is near a McDonalds. And the USS Alabama.

Work in Covington, live in Mandeville. Lot closer to LSU if you like going to games
