That stage of facial hair irritates the hell out of me. My neck itches so much. And of course, should you trim it with clippers, the facial hairs become a lot sharper and more irritated. I prefer to let it grow a little further for a full beard.

Eh. Maybe it’s ok to look at but there is nothing appealing about having stubble take a layer of skin off your face.
