So somebody protesting yells something moderately stupid. What's your point?

1:10, "sometimes they black up the intersections." Subtle, very subtle

You know what I think part of the problem is? When these stories are reported it is "white police shoots black teenager". That has a more powerful message than "Police shoots teen". Do you ever see "Latino police shoots white teen". To some degree these reports are selective as to what races they highlight.

Last week I overheard some black guys at lunch, who was sitting to the table next to me. They were talking about the Missouri protest & in not the exact same words I heard the guys say "these kids today dont stop and think for 2 seconds before starting a protest. Some of them act like criminals then want to blame everybody else when they get treated like one. And if they think whats going on now is anything like it use to be then they ignorant" and another guy when on to say "thats because you got kids raising kids......"

So I think if you remove race from the situations all you have is a bunch of dumb arse teenagers/early 20s kids doing stupid shite, like many teenagers/early 20s do.
