That seems hyperbolic. But this topic brings out that
Exactly.
I personally don't like seeing Federal tax dollars going towards this fluff shite, but the fear mongering over this is like the fracking causing people's faucets to catch on fire.

One of the dumbest things ever contrived

Only “works” with massive government subsidies. Pandering bullshite and not market feasible.

Hopefully Trump will kill the 45Q tax credits,if it wasn’t for that Exxon wouldn’t even be considering it.It’s bullshite,if that sequestered,CO2 leaks and pushes salt water into the aquifers or Co2 gets into the aquifers we’re fricked, I’m against it if there is only a 1% chance of it happening.
There are uses for CO2 being developed,a company in Belgium has a process to make bricks using CO2.
Northwestern University in Illinois is developing concrete using CO2.
Two scientists in Australia have developed a process using CO2 to generate electricity that looks very promising.
American ingenuity will find beneficial uses for CO2.
Besides, there are climatologists that say the hysteria over CO2 is way overblown.

Exactly! People have no idea that is the same thing that the coke they are drinking is carbonated with!
