RED RIVER PARISH, LA (KSLA) - Some type of an explosion has been reported in Red River Parish just south of the Caddo Parish line. A hazardous materials team from Louisiana State Police is among agencies responding, authorities said.

Louisiana Highway 1 at Yearwood Road is shut down. Motorists are being advised to steer clear of the area. "We don’t need any additional traffic up there until we can contain the incident," Trooper First Class Matt Harris said.
