Hate to say but this describes me right now. I'm working though to try and build back as much of my muscle and strength as I can though. Just takes time.

What do we call fat people that are in good shape/ very strong? When I was in my 20s and cycling in Colorado there was a fat dude that would do century rides like Fat Lance Armstrong. Just a beast. Probably had 40 extra lbs on him at age 35.

This is definately a thing. I played basketball with a bald fat dude who could run up and down the court all day. If you saw him on the street you'd think he would lose his breath making coffee.

Skinny person + Cane's twice a week = Skinny Fat

Skinny Fat is just a gateway state to Fat

Which itself is a gateway state to Really Fat

Lost 70 lbs worth of fluids following my open-heart surgery last November. Went from 260-265 lbs. down to 191.4 lbs. as of 6:00 AM this morning.

Turns out most of my weight was from retaining fluid due to lack of kidney function which was caused by heart failure. Between repairing my heart (had a bad mitral valve) and putting me on a med they call "Lasicks" I shed all that excess fluid. Only problem though is this med also sucked away a lot of my muscle strength. Not to mention I was basically on my arse and unable to do much of anything from November until February.

I'm working my way back but it's going to be a long slow road before I'm anywhere near my old strength.

5,10"

I went from a 42" waste ( probably closer to 44 toward the end before going in the hospital) to wearing 36s now. Shirts were 2XL, now I wear L.

watch the doc on NFLX called "Sugarcoated." There is an olympic rower on there who was "skinny fat" (pre-diabetic) due to performance drinks and such.
