There is validity to this given certain factors in your brain. Wife has cavernous angioma in her brain and too much caffeine, high energy drinks and NSAIDs are extremely dangerous.

Source of the article is literally some lady's facebook post. Show me a medical study or I will keep pounding 5 hour energy extra strength whenever I want.

I really never have understood the fascination with these so called energy drinks.

I drink them VERY sparingly - they can get you through a long drive, but should be viewed as a necessary evil, not something to do regularly.

I'm normally a coffee man with the occasional soft drink.

I drank a Red Bull one time in my life. After drinking it, my heartbeat started racing, I got dizzy, and I felt bad. After that one time, I said no more.

There's less caffeine in an 8 oz red bull than in a cup of coffee

her husband’s habit of “excessive energy drink consumption”

wonder how many we are talking about? 1 a day? 5 a day? 20 ?

as they say "too much of anything is bad for you"

Not once in this article does a medical expert make this claim about energy drinks. It is the wife, who is an ignorant c*nt and is attention seeking on social media. The ny post and fox news ran with the story as news. And now a bunch of ignorant people believe it is true, because they validated her stupid claim for more internet hits. In reality, someone that age who suffers a hemorrhagic stroke probably had undetected AVM.

I was scrolling down waiting for someone to post this video. The man in it had a traumatic injury resulting in a flail chest- that is the only thing that could cause this massive, paradoxical motion of the chest. The claim that it was caused by energy drinks is as absurd as this yellow journalism article.

I’m shocked....that AOL still exists.

Agreed

You don't want to drink 3-4 in a day
I drink one 2-3 times a week in the morning

You should probably watch your caffeine intake, generally, in that case.

However, it is not uncommon - I had a coworker who developed a caffeine sensitivity later in life - late 40s. Never had a problem before, and he had to pretty much drop soda and limit himself to about 1 cup of coffee a day - I don't know if it was permanent, but it scared him.

Caffeine isn't the only thing in red bull.

Most people don't nurse red bull for 30 minutes to an hour.

I drink my first cup of coffee in 20 to 30 minutes. I nurse the second one for over an hour. If I have a third, that goes slowly, too.
