Who always need massive amounts of OT just to pay their bills. I like OT but from May through the end of November I hardly work it unless its to cover for someone I know or if the weather sucks. frick needing 800 hours of OT a year to live.

I’m a retired cop. Probably made $200k a year by working overtime. My retirement fund is over $1 million. Y’all are welcome

Yeah I was taught young that you ain't even sniffing "rich" unless you make 4-5x what you spend. Learn to live off your base, and bonus/OT money is just that a nice one time bonus, don't leverage it, cause it's not consistent nor guaranteed. Be at minimum 6 months liquid in untouched savings that matches your monthly fixed expenditures (I sit at 1 yr right now). I don't make a financial decision without calculating how to increase that savings to match it moving along. Ie even if it's a new subscription service, I add that exact every month into my savings. Good way to really decide if it's worth it.
Unfortunately you have to many baws that need to chase that poon, and do it by trying to peacock. The poon don't care if they go into debt as long as they get theirs. Worse though is when they marry chodes like this and realize it's a house of cards, then they just cheat while ol baw is trying to keep up the facade working OT. Drama chasing trash gonna do what they do.
