When I go off my meds it takes about 3 days until full blown psychosis. when I go back on the meds it takes the same time for psychosis to fully end. Everything that happens in that state is exactly the same as a sober reality, it's nothing like a drug trip. It's as real as me typing this message right now. The only way it helps to begin to realize that things aren't really happening is for someone to tell me & even after getting stabilized on the meds again, it's still hard to believe that certain things weren't real (regardless of how bizarre they were).I become telepathic when I'm in psychosis. I hear the thoughts of others, can respond with my thoughts, and can hear their responses... I know they aren't real thoughts now though, and that's the least of it. It goes much deeper. Full blown hallucinations of people I've known for years, and some I've never met. Entire situations that last from just minutes to days long.The last time was about 7 months ago. I got arrested and locked up for real, and believed I was in a secret government facility watching them torture my mother through my plexiglass cell as I pounded on the windows and begged them to torture me instead. After days they tortured her to death. I believed I was being framed as an Isis recruiter, and they were trying to force me to admit that I was responsible for 911. I could communicate telepathically to inmates in the other cells, but only one out of many officers for some reason.When my mom came to visit me I cried both tears of joy for her being alive and well, and for the fact that I had my first realization that I didn't know what was real or not. I only said a few words to her because my head was spinning, trying to wrap what was left of my mind around what could be real or not. She left crying, and the whole time I was trying to deal with the crosstalk made up of the thoughts of everyone around me.That visit was a month into my stay in jail & was followed by messages I actually sent her about different inmates I discovered (telepathically) that wanted her dead, and a period of silence (I stopped messaging her when I saw her there getting tortured). The messages scared her, she didn't know I was not being given the medication. She came to visit 4 days after no messages, and 1 day after I watched her get tortured finally to death. I saw her with broken teeth, bones, two black eyes, and bullet holes in her arms and legs dead in front of me one day before she came to visit without a scratch.There's a lot more that happened in between the real visit and the time when the jail finally decided to give me a medication I've never been on, but made the psychosis end about 3 days into taking it. I was diagnosed long ago as schizoaffective btw, is schizophrenia mixed with bipolar. If you've made it this far, you've gotten a much better taste of this illness than any simulator like this will bring you. Celebrate your mental health if you've got it, and be glad you don't have this curse.?

The brain is powerful and I couldn't imagine having to live with my brain making me think I see things that are not there or not be able to tell the difference between what is real and fake.
