Damned right Walt. She helped a felon flee to Mexico. Apparently they are REEEEEAAAALLL rich so she won't go to prison.
She should though. She needs a cellmate with 4 feet of buttcrack that can lift a truck.

Based on the house the mom and affluenza kid were living in in Dallas I don't think they we're getting much of daddy's money any more.

Kid looks like World War 1 Hitler.

I read a lengthy article about this kids parents. Just terrible people. While I still blame this kid for his actions, he never had a chance and was going to end up (and still might) OD'd by age 25 on the path he was on.
Just read one. Was it this? Because you're spot on.....
The kid never had a chance, and sadly he STILL should be behind bars...and unfortunately I think he needs to be behind bars for a VERY long time. He simply has no idea of right or wrong. Parents, teachers, and whoever else can talk about his feelings etc., but this kid has no idea about cause and effect. Makes me wonder how that teacher can say with a straight face that he was "smart". Smart/rich people who are fricking terrible humans should be eradicated or stripped of all power as fast as possible for as long as possible.

So, does the mom go to jail for aiding a fugitive?
Will the kid actually see prison this time?

I'll be shocked if he doesn't go to prison
Of course I thought he would go to jail after killing 4 people but we saw how that turned out

Wasn't there a jury involed originally? If so those idiots were either bribed or are terminally stupid. In my opinion it's obvious that the judge was.

I read the article. Though I think the kid needs to be in jail I can understand why he's so fricked up. Prescription pills and a mentally defective mom will frick anyone up. You can say the same for most of the idiot criminals and thugs on the street though.

If only this guy would've caught the kid first we wouldn't have to pay for him to rot in prison.

I hope both of them spend a lot of time in the Mexican jail. He'll get slammed because there is no way they will let this kid slide again.
When I read the same Judge that essentially let him off sentenced a black youth to 20 years for one DUI death, I was outraged.

The black youth that was sentenced to 20 years committed the DUI death while driving a stolen vehicle. The law views things differently if the defendant has a record or the death was caused while committing a felony. Then the juvenile defendant would be tried as an adult. They aren't the same situations. People trying to present them as the same are being manipulative.

And in any case, only OT poors go to Mexico when running from the law. OT ballers go to
Switzerland.
Switzerland.

Couch is the teen who got probation after killing four people in a drunk driving crash two years ago.
This is where everything went wrong...Probation just because he was rich????

What? The jury easily convicted the guy on 4 counts of Manslaughter.
It was the Judge( GOP judge for what it's worth) who sentenced the young man. Not the jurors.

I used the same lawyer for my dui, he is the best.
Got it completely removed from my record. 10 hours community service and the court reporter gave me a BJ

I am not sure if this has been discussed, but I read this morning that the most jail time he can get is 120 something days. Then serve the rest of his probation under adult probation. Why would him mother take such extreme measures if the max would be him serving about 4 months in jail & having his probation status changed? The little a-hole killed four people, she should be thankful she raised a rich spoiled little cum stain because otherwise he would have likely gotten more than probation in the first place.
