There was one of those big outdoor shopping centers being built in my hometown when I was in high school and there were old Creek Indian artifacts and burial mound that was discovered when they were clearing the area and grading the land. It delayed a lot of the construction for several years.

In the end, I think the city ended up paying some money to the Creek tribe. I think they also let the tribe move the artifacts and then actually moved the mound a couple hundred yards in one direction to avoid removing it altogether.

500 bucks says not a single person has ever met one of their "ancestors " in person. Gimme a break. If its unmarked, how do they know who is buried there? All sounds like a money grab to hide behind some bullshite group
