if somebody shows up wanting to inspect your house, make sure they have the proper credentials.

Wouldn't surprise me. We did have some guys in Entergy clothes walk into the backyard today while we were outside and didn't say anything. It was suspect as hell

Impersonators should be shot on sight IMO.
Pretty low life to try and take advantage of folks who just went through a disaster and are emotionally/physically drained.

Uniform, ID card, call Entergy if anything seems suspicious.
