Entergy was digging yesterday for a new construction next door and busted my water pipe. Are they gonna fix this or am I shite out of luck and have to pay for it?
Already called and I have wait for the "construction department" of Entergy to call me back.

If they called in a one call ticket and it wasn't marked or it was mismarked - It might be a water company problem. If it was marked and they just hit it - Entergy.
You shouldn't have to pay for it either way.
A big utility company like Entergy deals with stuff like this all the time. They should know what to do.

“This is an update from Entergy at 1-800-968-8243 regarding a busted water pipe in your area. We estimate your water will be restored sometime after you call somebody who knows what the frick they’re doing to fix it”

If it's on the city's side of the water meter it's not your problem no matter what.
Well, not your financial problem.

Uhhhh, call the water company, genius. They would probably have great interest in fixing it correctly rhemselves.

Called the water company. They are the ones that came out and shut off the water and told me to call Entergy to fix the shite they busted.

If it’s on your side of the meter probably your problem
Were they digging in your yard or was your line run through the next door lot?

It's on my side of the meter. My line runs through the lot next door

Sounds like it’s a perfect time to correct that
The line from the meter to your house isn’t marked by one call so they have no way of knowing where it is

My neighbor had his concrete driveway fixed in a similar situation when Demco backed up on the edge of the driveway cracking it. He kept calling and they did nothing for a month. He had threaten them that he would sent them to small claims court. The CEO called him within 5 mins to tell him it will be fixed in one week. It was.

AT&T busted my main when they were running fiber lines a year ago. They called the water company and had them come out and fix it.
Found out when I got home that afternoon and flushed my toilet and it filled with brown water. When I called the water company they told me what happened and to run my water for like 10 minutes and I’d be fine.

So you've been feeding off your neighbors water meter for years and got caught?
