Why are there women with breasts removed from surgery in clear view on a TV commercial.

It's true...the real victim here is your son, who saw a scar on a woman who had a life threatening cancer that required a surgery that will disfigure her for the rest of her life and which may come back eventually and take her life.
My thoughts and prayers are with your son at this difficult time.

And that commercial changed her situation how?
Posted on 2/15/20 at 5:40 pm to ourkansastigah
It didn't change it at all.

It likely made her feel more confident and comfortable about her body and difficult journey she has been on.
Maybe you should just stop watching TV with your son if you’re going to be so sensitive.

While I agree with the premise, it was likely an auditioned part where many of the women were already comfortable in their skin. Maybe to bring some awareness for others who aren't I guess.

Hey, Peter!! Turn it to channel 9!!!

Probably very accurate but I’m sure it was still reassuring to her. Unfortunately most women don’t feel that way. There are many women who feel discouraged after surgery, reducing the stigma is helpful.
