Thats not an American phenomenon. Its true everywhere

It’s infinitely worse overseas unless you are at an elite medical center.

The UK has artificially increased its population with millions of 3rd world migrants. That will destroy any healthcare system.

We just don't treat them. The number of people dying in the US because they don't have insurance is far greater than the 120,000 dying in the UK on 2auting lists.

Then those people aren’t adequately using the affordable care act. It’s the individuals responsibility to comply with the mandate to have health insurance.

The US Healthcare system is directly responsible for our son's death and cannot be held accountable because the legal system protects them when they screw up. Don't fool yourself into believing the US Healthcare is all that.

The Torys have underfunded the NHS for the last 10 years.

Hardly. The basic principle of nationalized healthcare is rationing, there will never be enough government funding so the average citizens suffer. My grandfather died of heart failure from a treatable lung disease in the UK, months on a list for something he could've gotten care for here in days.

Well there would be a lot more people going to the Doctor if it didn’t cost anything. So I could see how that would make the waiting list to see the Doctor much worse.

People who aren't sick in Canada love their socialize medicine. People who are really in need of care (according to the NYTimes) like to quip, "My dogs and cats get better care."

When the Canadian system was first socialized, it was a virtual mirror of ours. It was fully staffed, lots of state of the art equipment with rapid response. It was expensive, but delivered great care to those who really needed it.

Over time, the bean counters found all kinds of ways to save money at the expense of timely care delivery via wait time rationing.

For example:

The US ratio of MRI's per million population is 40.44.

Canada's ratio is 10.35 per million.

I didn't say our system was all that, just better than England's NHS. Which apparently isn't that high a standard. There are human errors in any healthcare system, theirs as well as ours. Patients there have to contend with long waits for care in addition to errors. Our legal system allows for lawsuits to address malpractice, was this not an option for you?

Canada, which has a population roughly 10 times smaller than the US, has been taking in 500,000 migrants every year. That's why they have wait times, not because evil socialism.
