Coronation is better than the extravaganza.

I have a friend in Thoth and a couple neighbors. I can walk to their den from my house and it seems like they are doing shite almost constantly and having a blast. From fund raisers to Masque to finally the probably longest parading route all from way over there off Henry Clay. Think they ride the Sunday before FT, which is the perfect time if you ask me to still bounce back for FT morning.

If I was joining a new money clan would definitely be Thoth. Dated a girl with daddy in Comus. Should have hung on to her longer.

Thoth is fcking awesome. 1600 hundred or so riders who have great parties. Dues are pretty low so they we can spend a lot on our throws

Unless you're involved in the club, I'd skip the coronation. I've been to a few over the years and it's nothing special. Never Endy though.

I've been once. It's pretty damn boring as a guest

I don't think that's true because I'm not a member and I'm going. Using member tickets though.

Well yea I could give my tickets to a bum on the street and he could attend

I meant that a non member could not purchase tickets from the organization

Members use to have to buy the coronation tickets. Attendance was low so they raised the dues and they are included. People who don't go now give their tickets away.More crowded but not nearly as bad as the extravaganza . A group of us go to dinner and the coronation. Members put their name in a hopper and around midnight they pick the king from it.

I think it was around a few years ago. And you didn't really have to buy them but the dues were less if you didn't get the Coronation tickets. That was an option for a couple of years
