It's a pretty sharp curve. If you're speeding and unfamiliar with the area* it can happen.

i used to be a cook at one of the houses and was heading in one morning with icy roads. my old s10 got about halfway up the inclined entrance to the parking lot before i started sliding backwards. if not for the curb my arse mightve been in that lake
