only radiation of heats work
a computer with a heat sink would burn up in space,
and work fine on earth

Yes. Notice in that very simplified image that the satellites are still in a hazy blue, not darker blue? That’s because they need to be within the atmosphere to radiantly cool. At which point you need to power the system in low earth orbit, I’m not sure what you’re gaining by putting it in orbit to begin with.

Eta: The use case on the left of the image makes a bit more sense than the use case on the right side of the image, which is what we’ve been discussing. But that’s extremely niche.

Cooling in space is actually far harder. Obviously they won’t just be consuming water but they’ll have to figure out that technical probkem
