WTF? I got this in the mail today. I haven't opened it but I know that I'll be pissed when I do. Who else has got this scam in the mail?

30 bucks it is Lee and Perkins.

I draw a dick on the payment form and mail it to them in their prepaid envelope.

When I get my next one, I'll take a picture of it, just for you.

Usually get at least one a month for making a right on red with a rolling stop.

I'm guessing Sherwood and Coursey.

That's a great idea. I'm doing it too. We'll see how they like that.

They respond by just sending another request for payment.

After two requests per ticket, they give up.

I never responded and got phone messages on my land line one per week for probably 6 months.

This was from the slime ball attorney from Texas who they farm the "debt" out to.

The first few months were human beings leaving voice messages. Last few months were robo dials from a computer. Then it stopped.

I was shocked at how persistent they were.

When they eliminate due process, I eliminate my obligation to respond...

Say goodbye to your credit record and any chance of ever getting a loan again.

My wife got on in BR about 5 years ago and we never paid it. They can't get your info nor can they prove you were the driver.

Do NOT pay it.

We check our credit report about yearly.

Also search past threads on this same topic.

Exactly zero tickets from baton rouge have ever been sent to a credit agency. That's of almost one million issued.

As for credit, who doesn't have credit monitoring? And how would one inquiry hurt me

I have a camera speeding ticket from Lafayette from a number of years ago STILL on my credit report.

I don't care that it's there and have done nothing to remove it.
