rain in BR, AP and LP does not drain to MS river - even when it's low....

Sure. But
1) Flash flooding is not listed among the threats from this storm in the NWS forecast, and
2) None of Baton Rouge drains into the Mississippi.

Ebr didn't let out at 1:30. They dismissed at normal 2:30 time. Many people on this board love to discredit public schools whenever they can. Get a life!

Uh, no they didn't.

I did read earlier that East Feliciana Parish was closing at 1:30 but EBRP schools dismissed at regular time. Some (if not all) after school activities were cancelled though.

We are just the opposite. We work even longer hours when it rain alot. Rain is wonderful for business though.
