Three sons, 34, 24 and 21 .. they all took it pretty hard, but are slowly adjusting to life without their mother.

I was widowed a couple of years ago, so I’m familiar with eating alone. I’ve adjusted to that part OK. It’s the random memory assault that I struggle with. It’s weird meeting people that never knew him; he was so awesome and unique and is still my favorite subject.

My wife lost her dad about 3 weeks ago and her mom in 12/2017.
She feels like an orphan.
I understand how she feels. My dad passed back in ‘84. I was 18 but by no means mature. My mom passed in 1999.
Knowing there’s no way to see one’s parents again really sucks.
