A video of a man swinging dogs by a rope is now being investigated by officials in Louisiana. The footage, taken in Baton Rouge, shows a man walking with two dogs tied with a rope. When he approaches a street, he pulls the rope and swings the two dogs in the air several times before throwing them in the road. The dogs can be heard yelping as they hit the ground before running off. The person in the video is allegedly a student at Plaquemine High School. But officials said he wasn’t the young man in the video. “The young man from Plaquemine High School shared the video, he was not involved in the incident itself,” the Plaquemine Police Department said Monday afternoon, WWL-TV reported. Deputies searched the area and found the dogs safe Monday. They didn’t suffer serious injuries, according to the report, adding that the animals were returned to their owner.
