CDC is now saying to not eat any romaine lettuce unless you can be certain it did not come from Yuma, AZ.

Already have at least one case of a kid with this specific E. coli (O157) going into kidney failure.

I blame the immigrants for this. Probably been shitting on the lettuce.

What's the old joke? "You can make any salad a Caesar salad, just by stabbing it thirty times."

Damnit. That’s my favorite kind of lettuce.

Lettuce seems very vulnerable. It’s an odd food as it has very little nutritional value I replaced it with spinach leaves for my salads. I guess E. coli can’t be washed away?

For iceberg you're correct. Green leafy lettuces like butter and romaine, those are good for you.
