Jesus, that's brutal. Had to turn that off 30 secs in.

That shite infuriates me. One the war is pointless bloodshed. Two having someone in the AC killing people from their creature comforts doesn’t sit right.
Eh, I'm torn on this. While it is insane to think it's probably a bunch of 20 year olds blowing people up like it's Call of Duty in a nice enclosed trailer, on the other hand the Russians are invading another country and once you try that, anything goes.
If a foreign country tried to invade America and they asked for volunteers to blow up invaders from my couch, I'd do it 20 hour a days.

I've heard about these videos, never thought to seek them out. Not something I want to see. Watched the first video.
I don't understand how people watch this stuff. These are people with families getting their lives ended. Does that not compute to some because you're behind a screen.
Imagine the terror. Imagine lying there and your leg gets blown off and your screaming in pain. Maybe you have a wife and child and you know that once they get the news their lives will be forever changed in a horrible way.
This makes me sick to my stomach.

Who makes these drones?
US companies make some, Ukraine makes some of their own. I suspect every modern country is going to be cranking out their own en masse as they're presumably cheap and boy do they seem effective.

Let's use China as a hypothetical. You wouldn't have any issue killing chinese kids that were sent over here because they have no choice?
I'm not saying that's the case with every soldier, and I'm not saying I wouldn't do what I had to do to protect, but I would take no pleasure in it and I'd probably be sick every night about it.
It doesn't matter what "side" they are on. These are human beings no different than you or me.

Yes, it's awful. But seeing it is why it's important. Whenever people beat the war drums and want to send US troops somewhere, this is what we're staring down now.
Men with lives and families who truly don't want to be there dying in agony in a random muddy field after having their limbs blown off by a drone piloted by a guy relaxing in a chair 20 miles away while another drone records it all.

Suprised we haven’t seen it used more for criminal and terrorist activity.
They have arrested more than a few chinese LSU students for attempting things with industrial sites 15-20 miles north and south.

I would have no issue. If someone is invading your home they don't get any mercy because they would kill you in a heartbeat in that situation. The world may choose to feel bad for them, but I would not.

If you would have no issue killing human beings, even with cause, I think you may need to talk to someone.

not if they were trying to harm my family, friends, community, way of life, etc. kill or be killed...its not for the weak. most of human history has been this way.

I should say the same thing to you.
Your attitude is one of someone who thinks they're mature. To anonymously say you wouldn't have any issue killing human beings when you don't have the responsibility do so is something I'd expect from an adolescent who has yet to love anyone.

You give the most sanctimonious lectures on here. I've served in the military so believe I've had the opportunity to give this plenty of thought. Just because you live by a certain set of values, don't project your beliefs on me. I respect you may value the lives of those who would happily kill you, but I do not.

How well are these drones guarded from theft? Terrorists getting possession of these drones could be horrific to outdoor gatherings like Presidential rallies or football games .
This. It surely can’t be that difficult to do either. I hope that they are planning and in the works of having procedures in place for drones at sporting events.
It can’t be that hard to go buy a drone from Walmart, strap an explosive device to it, and send it into a crowd of people. I’m honestly surprised we haven’t seen this attempted by terrorists in the West yet. Kinda scary and nerve racking. I hope I don’t see those things at tailgates and stuff anymore, because that’s all I’m gonna be thinking about lol.

The same Secret Service that won’t walk on a 1:12 roof & couldn’t track a kid they identified as a threat?

Here's a bunch of Russians in a random field trying to hide / play dead it looks but the drone pilots are relentless. Please be aware this footage is not for the faint of heart:
was not ready for the head shot at the 2 minute mark. Also, how messed up is the person that has to zoom in and observe to make sure the soldiers are dead after each hit. They either have some kind of F*ed up gore fetish, or they will need years of therapy from the shite they've seen.
