I've been drinking one Leffe after a workout followed by 32 ounces of water over the next hour.........I must say my gains over the past 2 weeks have been better than any protein shake.

In order to maximize gains/pleasure, follow that up with 12 more and you should be in good shape.

Start drinking 40s they're as good as weights and will get you swole.

What kind of gains have you noticed in only two weeks?

6.6% alcohol on a 6'0" 215# man doesn't make a blood alcohol to the level of that study.......I'm getting sugary carbs, plant proteins and a diuretic for the water ingestion......suck on that science.

Well considering I've been working out for 6 months prior to this move, lots.......I've increased weight over the last two weeks on my bench and shoulder press, and I've finally been able to complete the ladder on my leg workout which I've been trying to for months.
Could totally be placebo.......OR THE BEER.

I started with those, but lately I've been able to keep on 16 oz bud light pounder in each hand. Amazing, I know.

There's a triathlete who swears by using dark stouts at recovery drinks after long workouts!

I am going to give this a go on Sunday.
I have been doing something similar as a burnout at the end of my workouts. For legs I will do single leg extensions with a fairly light weight doing very slow reps. Ten reps with one leg then ten with the other. Then nine/nine, eight/eight down to one rep per leg, then immediately two 20 reps with both legs. It works really well for other body parts as well using hammer strength machines with independent arms.
