He should have just said screw the nfl and retired. He didn’t say anything wrong. That was just his opinion. This mob mentality when someone says something you don’t like is ridiculous. It’s ok for people to not agree about things.

In less than a year, Brees has already pissed off the LGBTQ & BLM and apologized to both.
At this rate, by the end of the year, he'll be apologizing to Muslims for saying Jesus is the One True God and to Latin Americans for saying immigrants should enter the country legally.

Frick off. Drew was put in a situation where he had to apologize. It sucks but this is what the world has come to today. Say something that pisses off the left and you get put on display. What would you have done in that situation? You have 4 kids and run a franchise you single handily made relevant after Katrina. All your kids are on social media and you can’t back off at that point. It’s sucks but I would apologize too. Learn when to fight your battles. No one was behind him after his comments and he had no legs to stand on. I agree with his stance but I don’t fault the dude.

He also pissed off Saints fans for shitting the bed 2 straight years in the playoffs and getting embarrassed in the 1st round in a place nobody is suppose to win at. And yeah, the Rams loss is on his shoulders too because it never would've came down to a ref decision if noodle arm stopped skipping balls to WRs in that game. 1 or 2 plays before that PI he skipped a 1 yard pass to Thomas that would've sealed the game. Even Michael Thomas looked at Brees like he was an idiot in that situation like who da hell were you throwing at? Saints have like what, 3-4 straight historic playoff record losses. You can't make this shite up.
