Other than his medical background and years of clinical experience. Every strain of corona of except 1 and most viral URI are seasonally winter and much less common in summer months. Summer is more skin, GI, type viruses. His prediction lines up with current understanding and timing of corona strains and more than likely, his own experience treating viral URIs.

I dont think hes wrong here.. its not a major threat to the vast majority of citizens like 98%+.
more worrisome threat is the loss of liberties and gain of gov power. Economic and financial burdens. Violent crime, suicides, susceptibility to future health problems from more poverty and worse socioeconomic conditions will have a more significant Negative impact on health issues for a greater amount of Americans than COVID.
