He's a modern day Marcion, a prominent early theologian who was excommunicated for his heresy because he rejected the Old Testament. Andy Stanley preaches the same, and thus rejects 2 Timothy 3:16.

he didn't reject the OT... he held the belief that there was 2 gods, that the God of the OT and the God of Jesus were altogether different beings, clearly a break from the more trinitarian belief of the time, that essentially, at the Council of Nicea, became the Nicene Creed
