The city of $30k "millionaires." Houston isn't perfection, but Jeebus, outside of DC and ATL, there isn't a place I'd want to be on the road less than Dallas or I-45 (which is everyone headed to Dallas).

This isn't true at all. Where I live, I rarely ever see any litter, unless you count run over deer bodies.
There's always quite a few of those, buzzards take care of them pretty quick though.
