Can you pick out a lowercase G from this lineup? Researchers from Johns Hopkins University found that a surprising number of adults can’t. In fact, many of the adults they tested weren’t aware that there are two versions of a lowercase G at all and don’t know how to draw the less common one.

Correct answer coming up shortly...

...right?

ETA: Now I think it's 2 because that little loop at the top needs to connect to the letter before it. Right?

Two versions...

#3 is the only correct in what you posted.

In today's use of a million different fonts I am not sure what this matters.

I looked it up and now I am questioning everything I've ever known.

And all y'all who guessed right googled it.

It's 3. That's the Times New Roman font. Though, it's not surprising many people don't get this. It seems like a lot of online font doesn't use TNR.

Married an graphic design major. I wish I hadn't spent many nights at kinko's making copies of different fonts to make artwork.

So is this the one true font? Because I've seen hundreds of others and never had a problem figuring out what a g looks like.

Eta: I never noticed that when I am typing my post TD uses one font but when it actually posts it uses a different one. Or maybe my phone picks the font? Either way #3 is what came up when I typed g.
