Dolphin bitten by shark washes ashore at Kure Beach, NC

AMAZING VIDEO: A visitor in Kure Beach captured this amazing video and sent it to us. Witnesses say they saw a shark attacking a stingray just offshore of Kure Beach around 5pm. This happened just hours after a dolphin beached itself after being bitten by a shark. Even though people on the beach tried to save the dolphin, UNCW researchers say it has passed away.
