Also, my dog have some type of tumor cussing the seizures that led to him being put down eventually but he lived with it years after his seizures started so all hope is not lost.

Every case Is different, don’t lose hope. Our 9 year old dachshund had a seizure in April and the ER vet suspected a brain tumor and 3 months to live. Started on phenobarbital lowest dose. No more seizures. Primary vet feels the seizure was not brain tumor related and stated if no more seizures by January he will be confident it is not a brain tumor and simply a “one off” unexplained seizure. Ole Deuce is doing fine. The phenobarbital has changed his personality and energy level a little but nothing negative.
I say all that to say - don’t lose hope and take it one day at a time and pray for the best.

Check the flea and heart worm meds you are using. One of our dogs would have seizures within a few days of applying advantage Multi. We switched to just a heart worm chew without the flea med and the seizures stopped.

I had a Dane that had a seizure when he was about a year old. Took him to the vet. They weren't sure what caused it. He lived another 9 years and never had another.
