You are aware bread doesn’t maintain its spongy texture in the digestive tract?

Once it hits stomach acid, it degrades to a liquid consistency. While it’s thought to help fish bones in the UPPER gi, the small and large intestines are unaffected. And the fish bone approach is largely debunked by many anyways.

Just monitor it's shite for next couple of days. My dog got into the trash one day after we had a lot of chicken wings. Had to pull a drum stick bone out of his arse hole because it just poked out mid shite and wouldn't come out.

He doesn't look me in the eye anymore.

Dogs and other carnivores have been eating bones since coming off the ark.
Intestinal blockage is a possibility but not likely for average sized dogs.

Was training my dog one time with a teal I hadn't picked yet and the fricker swallowed the thing whole. Had to reach down his throat and pull it out before he choked to death

Your dog will be fine...they eat bones all the time

Moral of the story, he ate an entire chicken, bones and all, and was just fine.

FYI...that's not the "moral of the story"
