I always thought it would be cool to purchase a plot of land somewhere close to the mountains along a great trout stream and plop down one of these tiny homes.
However, once you factor in the cost of the land plus these tiny homes (which aren't always tiny prices), it just isn't worth it. I'm sure a log cabin wouldn't be that much than what some of these homes are going for.

Yeah it'd be cool for a hunting camp but not for 50k+. You can buy a shed that's about the same size or bigger for a couple grand and customize it how you want for waaaayyyyyy less than 50k

This place near my house and office in Nashville is a retail area built out of shipping containers. My buddy was on the development team and I got to tour it a few times while being built. Its pretty badass. His office was in one.

I've seen a few Mississippi baws bury the majority of the containers into the side of a hill for tornado shelter.
