You seem like an ignorant little prick that puts animal life on the same level as human life.

It's a lab, which means that more than likely the child really had to piss that dog off to make it bite him.
A child can darn near physically assault a Lab before it even moves, let alone bite.

that's not necessarily true.
Labs are prone to genetically linked problems. Hip dysplasia, Elbow Dysplasia, Eye problems, Heart problems, Epilepsy...the list goes on.
Labs are prone to other health problems. Some of which may or may not be genetically linked. Included but not limited to: Bloat, PANO, OCD, Thyroid problems and other immune system and endocrine problems.
which will make them very irritable. especially as they get older. No matter the breed dogs will bite for a number of reasons,
feel threatened, territory, food, injured, caring for young.
dogs don't have to be provoked to bite, thats why you don't pickup an injured animal it will bite you. Dogs will protect there food by growling or even snapping, especially at little kids that come around while they are eating. the list goes on and on.
also labs have one of the highest bite rates among dogs.
so you when think of a lab you think of your daddy's hunting dog or that goofy lab puppy down the street doesn't mean they wont bite
