I practically grew up in Bunkie. I haven't been back much since my grandparents passed in the mid 90's. it may as well be called Radiator Springs. When I-49 opened things went downhill economically. There were lots of other changes I won't get into but it's not the town in which I grew up anymore.

Never understood that infatuation. You can get good seafood/crawfish anywhere in the Parish. Bernice's is an establishment that goes unrecognized!

The Shell gas station in Bunkie is the very first place I ever used a Dyson hand dryer. They are ahead of the tech curve in Bunkie!
