I'd also like to know how accessible Denham Springs is. I have a friend leaving from Covington trying to reach family over there to bring them supplies.

you can get off 12 at juban but not 16
they could also go to oneal and go up central thruway to magnolia bridge

I'm just trying to see if the cops are going to block us from getting down Rushing. I'm ready to go start cleaning up for someone. I know it's important to get a house dry ASAP.

What if they went up I-55 north to Amite/Tickfaw hwy 16 and drove in to denham from the north side headed south on hwy 16?

I went this way Sunday but had to take 449 south from Pine Grove to 63 west then 447 south. Took a right on Cane Market Rd. Then a left on Perkins Rd. Then a right on Arnold Rd and that brought me to 16. As of Sunday, north of that intersection on 16 it was flooded and impassable. I'm sure it's receded since then but I can't say for sure if 16 is open all the way thru.
Google maps is still showing it closed/blocked between Amite Church Rd and Arnold Rd.

Bunch of roads blocked of through out denham . Water shouldn't be on them though
