My wife got the short term disability right before she got pregnant, and they paid her like $2500-4000 I can't remember for the 2 months of work she missed. I was extremely skeptical they would but I tried to let her do it on her own and it was only like $10/ pay period or something. I can't believe they cover that still.

I'm glad to hear it works for others, but it's still all a percentage game.

You likely paid insurance for your smart phone and TV.

You won't insure your OOP medical and lost wages if you break your leg riding a 4-wheeler or fall off a ladder?
