Does anyone have carnivorous plants in their house?

Looking at a Venus fly trap to sit on the window sill. Are they hearty plants?

had one a few years back, was pretty cool to have. I'd collect dead flies and such to feed them. of course they'd immediately close up.

Fairly so. They go dormant every 3 to 5 months in the winter though, but they are a perennial so they grow back every year. Keep their soil moist but don't overwater them. They also do better outside than inside-they like moist air. They can survive a freeze in the winter, though not an extended one. Hope that helps.
