You set yourself up for a target for crime as well.

Ex: Home health nurses being carjacked because pillheads think the nurses have narcotics in their car. The pillheads see RN on the license plate and think it is a homehealth nurse.

Or those that like to just target nurses in general for crime(serial killers, etc)....actually not a good idea to announce you are female as well on your car from a safety standpoint.

Just many reasons why should not announce that on your car besides the fact that it makes you look like a douchebag.

It's the stethoscopes hanging from the rear view mirrors that are tacky as all get out.

LCA, what does "all get out" even mean?

Never understood that one....hanging it there in the sun will just ruin a good stethoscope anyways. Hell even wearing it around your neck over time will ruin one.

I work in higher ed, and it's very common.

People put every acronym they have in their sig. And there's many many certifications and degrees. Most are good, some I probably wouldnt brag about.

If I were a mechanic, I would put that I was ASE certified.

Not, exactly the same, but somewhat similar nonetheless.

Your asking me that in front of all of these folks who admire me is as awkward as a hog on ice.

PDF of “Dr Wes”, a PA in North Carolina’s board action. I think they were more pissed about him having the “Dr Wes” license plate than the hit and run/dwi.

What business is that of yours, Tex?

Are you really asking this question in a thread like this? The damn OP is asking what people think of people who put "MBA" in their e-mail sig.

I don't know any millenials with $100k in the bank.

I know doctors and lawyers with that kind of money easily. I have an uncle that won the lottery when I was a kid. Hell, I know some farmers with that kind of money.

GREAT point and your reply not only didn't offer your opinion, you said you didn't even know anyone with an MBA (I bet you do) AND you offered some stupid story about some other dude with NOTHING to do with the OP!

You don't seem very bright. I doubt you could even spell MBA.

Well, I offered my opinion on the pompous arse who put a worthless certification behind his name.

Maybe I do know people with MBAs. The only reason I'm not aware of the fact is likely A) I don't worry about the degrees that people have, and B) they don't flaunt around the degrees by putting them in an e-mail sig. At least it would mean more than a stupid arse CWB.

Coming from you, that's laughable. I've seen burnt out light bulbs brighter than you.

Get on down the road and GFY.

Why would PhD be relevant/any different than MBA?

You can get a PhD in anything - at least people know your MBA wasn't in gender studies

I have an MBA and own my own business.
Guess I can put that in my title boss and MBA.
I guess this is for people who are mediocre and feel that this is a huge accomplishment in their life.

At the end of the day no one gives a crap and my employees want their paycheck!
