Neckbeard, racist, misogynist... I think it's revealing that the ad hominem attacks in this thread are mostly coming from one side. The people arguing that body count does somehow matter aren't the ones leaning on that logical crutch. They have more powerful ammunition available to them.

However, when an individual choses to engage in casual sex, breaking bond after bond with each new sexual partner, the brain forms a new synaptic map of one-night –stands. This pattern becomes the “new normal” for the individual. When and if the individual later desires to find a more permanent partner, the brain mapping will have to be overcome, making a permanent bond more difficult to achieve. Often the individual is not aware that the brain has adapted to the behavior pattern and he/she begins to think, “That’s just the way I am”, further reinforcing the pattern. In conclusion, research on bonding continues to support previous research showing that the brain is strongly influenced by sexual behaviors.

Thank you for your intelligent contribution to the discussion.

There may be some valid science there, but seems kind of like a chicken or egg thing. Someone who is more likely to engage in frequent casual sex, is probably just already that way, with a brain that is more resistant to forming those more serious/permanent bonds. I doubt the casual sex makes them that way, but rather the way they are leads to the propensity to engage in casual sex.

Its the product of the last few decades, where we've discouraged the biological importance of womanhood, and encouraged women to adopt the sexual morality and drives of men.
Its sad, its ultimately destructive, and it devalues a cornerstone of stable long term relationships.

Good grief. Dude. This is the kind of post you should have hit delete instead of enter. The only thing you can do now is create an alter and ditch this username.

Did you write this post because you thought the term “body count” is cool and you are trying to coin it? It doesn’t make sense and I have never heard anyone call it that.

Agreed. OP could call himself "DenimSpringsEternal" and pretend to be a middle-aged gay woman who owns a small contracting business in Livingston Parish. She's a little rough around the edges but really just one of the guys.

Most girls use Dominion software for their body counts, so it is hard to say.
