We just carpooled when I was younger. Parents split time taking kids to practice.

If you cared you would stay, stand as close to the field as possible, offer unsolicited advice, and criticize the other players when walking off the field with the coach after practice.

I was the placekicker for my high school varsity football team for three years, it was an awesome experience that I only enjoyed because the football coach came into one of our soccer practices with a concern the current figure out the time is graduating and there was no replacement.

Several of us right out and I was the one that made it, really enjoyed my time on Friday nights playing Texas high school football. Actually ended up with interest from Rice University and some other small schools, but none of them picked my interest except for rice, where coarse my grades were not near good enough.
