I got 350k out of a 2003 Yukon.

I didn't do much except change the oil, tires, belts and battery.

And you're right. I've been getting shafted for being the responsible one who moved off and took care of herself

Jiffy Lube is right next to the big public library parking lot on the south side of I-20. I've never used them so I can't offer any recs.

She can just go to Walmart if it's not busy. What difference does it make which monkey drains her oil and twists on a new filter?

You can purchase oil in 'bulk' at Sams and other places.

I could do my own oil change (diesel engine, 11 quarts), buy the filter direct from Cummins, and spend about 1/4 of what Jiffy Lube would want to charge.

So if cost matters you may consider figuring out how to do it on your own.

SpeeDee $5 off coupon

I am very bored today, and weather is cold and windy out. Want to see how this plays out.

I know you don't know me. But if you did you'd know that me doing my own oil change is one of the most absurd suggestions ever

I use SWEPCO lubes for almost all my stuff. Extends drains by at least 3 times is why I use them.

appreciate it

That gets it down to $75. I may just go with the Walmart suggestion and get someone to pick me up so I don't have to sit there all day

I use the service department at the dealership where I bought my pickup.

As far as quick lube places go in Ruston I would try the Chevron on Tech Drive.
