No one truly knows what’s happened on a planet that’s billions of years old. It’s possible nothing outside of what we think to be true happened, its also possible that in billions of years things happened and we’re erased from existence.

You weren’t born out of religion. What WERE you? Baptist? Protestant? Did you denounce it like so many? I was born Catholic. Frick Catholics. The largest religion and stupidest. At 4 yrs old I began questioning the stupidity of religion. When you’re going to tell me if I do wrong the devil will cast me into the lake of fire? And I ask why you can’t throw water on the devil since “he’s made of fire?” And no answer for a 4yr old? You have mental issues. Religion all types are BS. But hey believe whatever you want. I’m not here to tell you not to believe. I’m stating my thoughts on it and every religious person says the same damn thing. “I don’t need to prove god to you, you have to prove he doesn’t exist.” That’s weak at best. No religious person has an actual leg to stand on. So that’s their famous quote to get out of the argument. Agnostic and atheist will give you valid arguments yet you sit there and say nothing other than “look at the Bible.” It’s a fictional book. Unproven. So that statement is defeated. When god comes down from the heavens or the sky and puts a man that can touch a quadriplegic in front of my eyes and he he gets out of his wheel chair and starts running? There is no miracle man that ever existed.

Normally, in a discussion with an atheist, I typically believe and convey that their issue with God is not their intellectual ability to comprehend the complexity and nuance of God’s existence and our relationship with Him, but rather a stronger desire to put themselves on the throne. What’s sad is you really have no talking points on why you believe the way you do, just a bunch of absolutes which aren’t fact based. I would at least respect it if you could give some intelligent counter arguments and acknowledge that neither sides knows anything for a fact but you should at least have some insurance to carry to your death

No, it’s their ignorance that couldn’t influence me into believing such fictitious bs that I’ve heard spewed over my entire life. If you’re too stupid to influence a child into believing in something you believe in? Then your teachings are subpar at best.
