I don’t know how old the earth is and neither does anyone else. There are a lot of ideas, none that I know of that are iron clad truth. Time is a human/social construct devised by man to make since/ bring order to their world. God as described by the Bible and other religions exists outside of space and time.

Don’t know what to believe? Man wrote it. God never showed him self to what the first humans (Adam and eve) and then the past 2500 hundred yrs? Ppl want to believe in god. But no such thing as aliens right?
Only thing that certain is for the past 1900+ yrs god or anything miraculous of a god has never occurred since then but we’re to believe that the past is set in stone and that there is a messiah but god forbid he shows himself today. What’s he been doing since then? Nothing? Cause there’s no indication of him being alive now is there?
And before man was dinosaurs. So why’d he create lizards on earth before man? That was a science experiment gone wrong so he killed them all to put man on earth? Give me a break

You are missing the point. Something created what you are saying we evolved from right? What did dinosaurs evolve from? How did they get here. From aliens? The only way something can just appear is by a higher power otherwise you believe dirt turned into an Australopithecus which is just as crazy right? Why can’t you just agree that both sides are in the same boat?

Science has confused the design pattern of living creatures with evolution. Of course they’re are similarities. It’s a design pattern.

I think there is SOMETHING (perhaps it is a higher power that created everything. I do believe that! However! What I don’t believe is a religion telling me about this invisible higher power than controls where we go when we die or what we must do which is obey his word when the facts present in life tell us god doesn’t give a damn about human life or ANY life and I don’t believe for one second he ever did. Cause if he did? Wouldn’t he have kept the first animalistic life (dinosaurs) from going extinct? That was his first love no?

I’ve been there. All history is written by man. The creation story is similar to Sumerian and Babylonian history which would have been passed down verbally until the invention of the written word 6,000-10,000 years ago? Again, something that is difficult to prove.
