I got hit in the parking lot at work a few months ago. Was a pain in the arse but ended up working out and their insurance paid for everything

I was involved in an accident where I hit the guys trailer hitch at 5mph. The only damage was a dent matching the hitch in my bumper.
He got a whole rear bumper and tailgate (which was conveniently damaged already) and $1400 to cover any “medical expenses” since he said his back hurt.
My insurance company didn’t even throw up a fight.

Have been in 2 accidents in my life. Last one was in the smartphone age. She said it was her fault. I asked if I could get a video of her saying so or we can sit around and wait for the police to do a report. She obliged.
Even in a parking lot, ask to get it on video.
