Do you have annual, semi, quarterly, or monthly insect control? What do you pay?

Been doing it myself but I'm thinking about just hiring a pro.
I don't have any issues. I'm talking about prevention

Do it myself, I maintain 3 properties and it cost about $50 for chemicals every 3-4 years and takes about 15 minutes every few months, why pay someone else to do It?

I pay $30/month for the exterminator. That rate has been the same for a decade. It's a small miracle.

$21/monthly insect control -- well worth it
$220/yr termite contract, guaranteed -- also well worth it

Yeah....you need a pro to do a complete inspection. Those little frickers will get in places you wouldn't imagine.

Suspend and permethrin every 3-4 months inside house and around outside. No bugs or fleas whatsoever

Probably need to start doing it myself too.

When you do it yourself, what is the process? Spray around perimeter? Windows, door frames?
How often and what chemicals? Thanks in advance.

I’m a licensed pesticide applicator but I only do horticultural treatments however I pay an exterminator $35.00 a month to spray inside my house and the perimeter because my wife has an unreasonable fear of roaches. He has not raised his price in 15 years. He knows that I know what he sprays and that I could do it myself but it gives my wife piece of mind for him to treat the house. Or they’re fricking.

With suspend SC I spray every 3 to 4 months around the outside of the house making sure to soak the weep holes in the brick. Also heavy around the windows and doors as well as the eaves/overhand.
Permitherin (sp). I spray every 1 to 2 months spraying the same areas but also getting the bushes and the mulch area. I also get the ceiling of the porch and around the outside light fixtures.

I alternate spraying the talstar liquid pictured above and suspend S.C., do it once every 3 - 4 months, spray baseboard inside the house, and the exterior perimeter with a wide spray pattern and go 3 feet up and 3 feet out, broadcast the off brand talstar granules in the yard Once or twice a year if the ant hills start showing up

I use suspend.
Even at my rental properties, i use it.
Never once, have i had a single issue with bugs because of that stuff. It’s some really great stuff.
There is zero reason to pay someone to do it for you when it’s that simple

For those of you who do it yourself, are you truly seeing zero bugs? Like not even the nomadic wandering roach?
Because I pay Orkin $45/month and haven’t seen one roach in years. But I’d very much like to stop paying them money if I can do it myself for cheaper.

I use taurus sc. Works well...has instructions for a 10 year treatment application, but I just spray it every few months...one day I might put in the effort for the extended treatment.

That's just for termites?
Anyone have any success limiting mosquito's?
